I would like opinions on this.Party A runs, gets donations from big business and the like.Same way with party B.Now it comes time for the marker to be called in,generally in the form of legislation beneficial to them and not to the people. The same goes for lobbying. Is this not legal bribery and influence peddling.

Corporate campaign donations were made illegal just last year here. As far as I'm concerned, no special interest funding or campaign donations should be allowed. That goes for many left-leaning interests that I support. If an interest, group, corporation or what have you is going to survive in our reasonably free markets, it should be up to the people to support them. Otherwise, the conflict of interest is staggering, and should be deemed fraudulent at best, illegal at worst.

The biggest misconception is that big buis. give to just the Repubs...most big buis is an equel oppurtunity donater to both whores,to cover their bets for who ever gets elected.

Walmart, the biggest of big business, gave 85% of its 2003 campaign money to Republicans, the remainder to Dems. Specifically, $1M went to Bush.

You gotta wonder just how much this ends up undermining democracy. At the end of the day, to whom do our leaders really feel accountable?

If I got money from the government and I always vote for the candidate that will insure I get money from the government going forward isn't that legal bribery and influence peddling.?
